These terms apply to all users of Camride Cars services. By booking a journey with us, you agree to these terms. References to “we,” “us,” or “our” refer to Camride Cars.

2. Charges and Payments

  • Standard Rates: Charges for our services will be calculated based on our current pricing schedule.
  • Additional Fees: Your total fare may include additional fees such as tolls, airport parking, or surcharge adjustments during periods of high demand.
  • Waiting Time: A waiting time charge of 30p per minute will be applied if the driver is required to wait beyond the scheduled pickup time.
  • Payments: All bookings must be paid in full at the time of booking or upon completion of the journey, depending on your chosen payment method. We reserve the right to adjust our pricing at any time.
  • Cancellation Process: You may cancel your booking through our approved communication channels (phone or email). Please refer to our Cancellation Policy below for details regarding applicable cancellation fees. Camride Cars reserves the right to cancel a booking without compensation to the customer in the event of a “no-show.” Before doing so, we will make reasonable attempts to contact you. We also reserve the right to cancel bookings due to Force Majeure events (unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control). In either of these instances, 100% of the quoted journey cost shall be payable by the customer.
  • Festive Period Policy: Our Festive Period includes: 24th December 18:00 to 27th December 06:00 and 31st December 18:00 to 1st January 06:00. All bookings made during these dates/times must be fully pre-paid.

3. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS

The Company retains the right to amend or vary these terms and conditions and the fares at its absolute discretion, providing reasonable notice to the Customer. No representations, additions, or warranties made by any individual acting on behalf of the Company shall be valid unless confirmed in writing by an authorized officer.

4. PAYMENT FOR SERVICES

Invoices are due for full payment within 14 days of issue. Failure to settle an invoice within this timeframe renders all outstanding balances immediately due and payable. Unpaid amounts shall accrue interest at a rate of 3% per month, and the Company reserves the right to apply late payment charges until the balance is cleared. Customers may not withhold payment due to disputes or claims against the Company. Please note that prices are subject to variation based on demand.

5. INVOICE LIMITS

The Company may establish a credit limit upon account opening. We reserve the right to decline further Services if this limit is exceeded.

6. YOUR SECURITY

We take your data security seriously. We may use the personal information you provide to conduct standard anti-fraud checks to ensure the safety of our systems and users.

7. LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS

The Company is not liable for loss or damage to:

  • Money, securities, antiques, precious metals, furs, or jewelry, regardless of value.

  • Goods with an intrinsic value exceeding £100.

  • Hazardous, explosive, or illegal materials under English Law.

  • Items susceptible to deterioration during transit.

Unless prior written agreement is obtained from a Director regarding the nature and value of such items, the Company accepts no liability for their loss or damage. We reserve the right to dispose of prohibited goods at our discretion. Furthermore, the Company is not liable for consequential losses, damage to breakables (e.g., china or glass), or loss arising from accidents, weather, customer error, or Force Majeure (including strikes, industrial disputes, or governmental acts). The Company’s total liability per service is limited to the lesser of £150 or the intrinsic value of the goods, excluding liability for death or personal injury.

8. PASSENGER TRANSPORT AND LUGGAGE

  • Arrival Times: Camride Cars will use reasonable endeavors to ensure that your vehicle arrives at the requested time. However, we do not guarantee arrival or journey completion times. Time for the journey is not of the essence, and we shall not be liable for any losses, missed appointments, or consequential damages resulting from traffic, vehicle breakdowns, or other unforeseen delays.
  • Passenger Conduct: Passengers are expected to behave respectfully toward the driver and other passengers. We reserve the right to refuse carriage to any individual who is, or appears to be, under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or who behaves in a threatening, abusive, or disorderly manner.
  • Cleaning and Damage: Any damage caused to the vehicle by a passenger—including interior cleaning required due to sickness, spillage, or misuse—will be charged to the passenger at a minimum fee of £80, or the actual cost of repairs/professional cleaning if higher.
  • Luggage and Pets: We reserve the right to refuse the carriage of items that are excessively large, heavy, or potentially hazardous. Assistance dogs are permitted at no extra charge. Other pets may be carried only with the prior agreement of the Company and the driver.
  • Service Interruption: In the event that we are unable to complete a journey due to circumstances beyond our control (such as vehicle failure), we will make reasonable efforts to arrange an alternative vehicle. We shall not be liable for any additional costs incurred by the customer due to such interruptions unless expressly agreed upon in writing by a Director of the Company.

9. SEVERABILITY

The invalidity or unenforceability of any single provision shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining terms.

10. WAIVER

The Company’s failure to enforce any term of this Agreement at any time shall not constitute a waiver of such right or term.

11. DATA SECURITY

You consent to the use of your Personal Information for anti-fraud checks, including disclosure to credit reference or fraud prevention agencies for record-keeping.

12. PROMOTIONAL CODES

Promotions (“the Offer”) are subject to the following:

  • Offers run for a finite period (defined on the coupon or 30 days if unspecified).

  • Offers cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions.

  • The Company reserves the right to exclude participants or amend/withdraw offers at any time without notice.

  • Offers are subject to availability and limited to one redemption per account holder unless otherwise specified.

13. NOTICES

Notices are considered duly served if delivered by hand, registered post, or electronic means (fax/telex) to the address provided in this Agreement. Service via post is deemed effective 24 hours after dispatch.

14. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This document constitutes the complete agreement between parties, superseding all prior oral or written arrangements. No prior representations or promises shall be implied unless expressly stated herein.

15. TERMINATION

This Agreement may be terminated by either party with one month’s written notice. The Company reserves the right to suspend Services or terminate the Agreement immediately, without notice, if the Customer breaches these terms.

16. DISPUTES AND GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
